I’m super duper excited for my post today! It’s a collab with the lovely Malori! She is an amazing fashion, beauty, and lifestyle blogger located in Arizona! She is incredibly sweet and has awesome blog posts! We both decided to do makeup looks with our Boxycharm boxes! Our looks and opinions are pretty different, so I highly suggest you check it out!
Here is the look she created, isn’t it gorgeous?? 😍
Here are the products I got, incase you need a little refresher!
The IT Cosmetics brow product is pretty nice, but I don’t fill in my brows, so this product is pretty useless to me. I also think the taupe shade is a little dark for people with lighter eyebrow hair, I don’t know why they only have one shade. Other than that, I think it’s a pretty nice brow pencil.
I actually really like the Dr. Brandt primer, I didn’t think I would, but I do. It gives a really nice luminous sheen to the skin, but not too much where it makes me feel greasy! I will definitely keep on using this!
I really like the Glam Metals palette, except they have zero transition colors. I have plenty of palettes I can use with it, but to me that makes me want to use the palette less. Why use two palettes, when you can use one that has everything you need? I do think that the colors are beautiful and they look really nice on the eye. The black isn’t very pigmented either. 😢
A big surprise to me is that I like the PUR trio. I didn’t think I would like the shimmery bronzer, but it actually looked pretty nice on my skin. The blush isn’t very pigmented, I had to build it up quite a bit, which isn’t bad. The highlight is also very nice, I like a beaming highlight and this gave me that! So, 2/3 isn’t bad!
Lastly, is the Girlactik matte lipstick, this is the only product that Malori and I have different. I love the color of this! It has kind of a mousse like consistency, but it does dry down matte! I think the formula is a tad bit drying, I have other matte lips that feel much better, but I didn’t hate this product! I will definitely keep using it!
Here is the look I created with all the products! I used my Tartelette Toasted palette for the transitions and crease shades. The colors on my lid are ‘pop rock’ all over the lid, with ‘heavy metal’ on the inner part of my eye. I also used ‘wild thing’ on my lower lash line!
I hope you all enjoyed this post and a HUGE thank you to Malori for being my first collab ever! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
See you all on Wednesday!
Let’s be friends!
