My Favorite Reddit nosleep Stories.

Hello babes!

This is gonna be a very different kind of post. I’m a huge lover of the creepy and the spooky, whether it’s real life murder stories or just made up. I love them all.

I recently discovered the app (or website, you can use it on your computer too!) Reddit, which is basically like a forum. There is a subreddit called ‘nosleep.’ The premise of this one is to act like every story you are reading is real. Not every story is real, obviously, but you just comment and act like they are all true. I love that because it definitely adds to the creepiness and scary factor. You can definitely tell which ones aren’t real, but some could be and that’s what is so scary.

You also don’t need to sign up for the site just to use it, you only need to sign up if you want to comment or vote on posts.

I wanted to share with you guys my favorite stories I have read, so far, and let you guys know a little synopsis about them. I won’t give away the story, don’t worry πŸ˜‰ , but I’ll give you a little insight into what they are about!

I hope you guys enjoy!

*Disclaimer do not look these up if you get scared easily or hate scary things!Β *

  1. My Ouija, My Friend – u/blackfridayswitch13

This story is a really unique ouija board story. It is a series, which means there will be multiple posts to the story, and it’s really fun to read. It’s about this girl who uses a ouija board and it starts to become like a friend to her. I’m usually not into ouija stories, but this one is so original!

2. Alexa, Who Is In My House? – u/stealthdamage

This is a paranormal series about this woman who has moved with her husband into a new house. It turns out that she is experiencing weird things happening in the house and to her husband. It also includes some weird things happening with her Alexa, that electronic device you can talk to.

3. Forgot to lock the door one night – u/RayofShay

This is about a girl who starts noticing items in her house being moved or eaten, almost like someone is coming into her house. She comes up with her own plan of trying to see if someone is coming in or not. All I can say is, it sure made me want to make sure my doors were locked. πŸ˜‚

4. Hell Adjacent Hotel – u/Gloeee

This is a series about a girl who goes to a business meeting held in a hotel, then the hotel gets moved into a place near hell. It’s really interesting and really crazy to read, it’s also really original and I appreciate that!

5. Fran and Jock – u/Pippinacious

I LOVE this story. It’s one of those types where you think you know which direction it’s going in, but then it does a 360. I loved it so much. It’s about a girl who has these two bears, when you squeeze them they say something in each of the grandpa’s voices.

6. The Monster Under your Bed isn’t Always there to Scare You – u/lifeisstrangemetoo

This one is actually not really scary at all and it was the first one I read on Reddit. I enjoy how innocent it is and I think it’s easier to read because of how it isn’t too scary. It’s basically about a child who talks to the monster under his bed.

7. A group of perverts are targeting kids on YouTube. I used to work for them. – u/TheColdPeople

This one is scary because it actually is true. You can look up the videos talked about in the story and they really are there. It’s basically about this guy who unintentionally started working for these people who were making perverted and messed up videos targeted for children. This actually does happen, which is horrifying.

8. Ever since the cabin experience, my fiancee has been scaring me – u/TheColdPeople

This is a series and probably the most well written story I have come across on Reddit. It’s about a terrifying cabin, woods, and some paranormal stuff. It’s different and not easy to figure out, which I love. I also heard that it got/will be made into a book?! So cool!

9. My fiancee Faye is behaving strangely again – u/TheColdPeople

This is the second series to #8, it’s just as well written and still about his fiancee and the whole ordeal they experienced previously!

10. My Wife Came Home Early – u/DanteAppa

This is such a crazy story, it’s super short and gets straight to the point. If you don’t like long drawn out stories, then this is a good one for you! It’s about a husband and wife who inherit a new home, when one day his wife comes home early and she’s a little…off.

11. Mac- u/thecuriousdeadcat

This is another story with a surprise twist ending. The surprise endings are some of my favorites and this one does not disappoint. Its about a girl who takes a babysitting gig and things start getting weird.Β Warning*This story does contain mention of murdering an animal*

There you go, some of my favorite Reddit nosleep stories!

I definitely don’t recommend going on this site if you don’t like scary things, I’m a seasoned horror lover and I still get spooked! I personally love it and enjoy reading some of these fantastic stories.

There are other forums on Reddit, so if creepy isn’t your thing, then they might have something else for you!

I hope you guys enjoyed this different post. Let me know if you read Reddit no sleep, or might check it out!

I love this!!! I never could get into Reddit because I don’t know how to use it/navigate around it…? I might have to learn to read some of these. They all sound so good!

If you like scaring yourself shitless, check out CreepyPasta too! I love just cycling through there and reading 5-10 minute stories if I want an adrenaline rush, and to feel like Buffalo Bill is in my home XD
